Low Voltage Wiring

When it comes to distributing audio, video, security, and data throughout the home or office, structured cabling, (also known as low-voltage wiring), is still recognized as the most reliable method without question - and for good reason. A properly designed and installed cabling system provides you with "no-worry-wiring," which ensures you peak performance, flexibility, and room for growth as your needs change. While we can't promise you won't still lose your keys every morning, we can promise that the process, simply put, is a way for you to organize, simplify, and secure your home or business.

Computer Networking Cat 5/6

Networking is the practice of linking computing devices together with hardware and software that supports data communications across these devices. When your home or business depends on your computer, make sure you have reliable computer cabling that can keep up with you! We will assess your computer networking and wiring needs, and create a structured cabling system by using cat 5 and cat 6 that will run your business or home as smooth as you do...... (or as smooth as you have always wanted to run it!) Wireless networks are not secure either. When it comes to networking computers, running a properly wired hard line will eliminate that security risk.

Telephone Cabling

Telephones... we can't do without them! (Although sometimes we wish we could!) A business phone system is critical to your company’s performance. You need to get enough capacity for your current needs while planning for growth. New technology is allowing small businesses to handle more than ever before. Technology such as "Work-from-Home Telecommuting," "E-Faxing," and "Web-based Phone Management" can help your business run more professionally than ever before. These types of phone systems require wires, and having them run at optimum level is key.

A home phone system is no less important when it comes to communicating with our families and friends. Phone wires installed by our experts will ensure reliability for a worry-free home. (Which is more than you can say about your teenagers!) Plus, it looks great because our telephone wiring experts will hide the cables right in your existing walls!

Coaxial Cabling

Coaxial cable is used for computer network internet connections, and distributing cable television signals. One advantage of coaxial cabling over other types of transmission lines, is that inside an ideal coaxial cable, the electromagnetic field carrying the signal exists only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. This allows coaxial cable runs to be installed next to metal objects, such as gutters, without the power losses that occur in other transmission lines. It also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. (Sounds like a science class!) We'll worry about the details, and you can sit back on the couch and watch your favorite TV shows while we sweat! That sounds fair, right?

So you want to add a TV to your bedroom, do ya? No problem! We can run the proper cabling for that, and hide it in your existing walls! (Unlike the cable companies that run those unsightly wires on the OUTSIDE of your house!) No sir, that's not something you will catch us doing!

If your New Years resolution was to get organized and save money, this is one heck of a way to kill two birds with one electrician! (On a side note, we do not condone the killing of birds.) Look, it eliminates the messy, ugly wires being hacked into and run haphazardly into your home from outside, and it helps with security since the line is run inside your house - not outside! We are certified, trained experts in structured cabling/low-voltage wiring systems. Let Michigan Electrician, Hartland Electric, design and install a networking system that is just right for your home and office.
