Lighting Retrofit

Our energy efficient lighting retrofit project was a success in a manufacturing facility in Howell, MI. The project involved the retrofitting of 158 fluorescent light fixtures throughout the facility. This was a 66% savings on the electrical usage and made maintenance and fixture up-keep easy. All the fixtures (lamps and ballast) are uniform.The light fixtures in the front office areas were all changed from t-12 lamps to t-8 lamps and electronic ballast. This change translates to a 38% savings in the energy used during office working hours. In addition, the manufacturing facility requested motion sensors and detectors to create more savings for the company in the area of energy usage. This project was a success because the manufacturing company chose Hartland Electric LLC. We made them aware of the utility incentives available to them. Hartland Electric LLC took care of all the paperwork and inspections, and the utility company gave our client a check after final inspection of the project.
