Lighting Retrofit
Our energy efficient lighting retrofit project was a success in a manufacturing facility in Brighton Township, MI. During the first phase of the project, we removed large industrial high bay metal halide light fixtures and replaced them with low bay fluorescent fixtures. This was a 52% savings on the electrical usage in the shop area. The light fixtures in the front office areas were all changed from t-12 lamps to t-8 lamps and electronic ballast. This change translates to a 38% savings in the energy used during office working hours. In addition, the manufacturing facility requested motion sensors and detectors to create more savings for the company in the area of energy usage. This project was a success because the manufacturing company chose Hartland Electric LLC. We made them aware of the utility incentives available to them. Hartland Electric LLC took care of all the paperwork and inspections, and the utility company gave our client a check after final inspection of the project.
Installing Solar
We installed solar panels on a home in Brighton Township, MI. The 3.1 Kw PV system was roof mounted and grid-tied. DTE signed the Brighton resident to a contract agreement for the installation of their solar power grid-tied system, with an incentive rebate check to go towards the purchase of their solar system. The solar panels were supplied by Michigan Solar Solutions and installed by the trained and certified installers at Hartland Electric LLC. Hartland Electric LLC is N.A.B.C.E.P certified solar installer and knowledgable of the entire DTE SolarCurrents program.
Generator Installation
An 8Kw Generac stand-by generator with 8 circuit load center transfer switch was installed in Brighton, MI, for only $3900.00. The homeowner is thrilled with the certainty of having water and heat this winter if the power fails like it did in the previous year. A very simple fix...and a satisfied homeowner. She was happy to pay for the repair knowing that the lights are on and her home is safe. Many service calls are performed daily for $39. This is an affordable price to have a licensed professional electrician come to your home and diagnose your problem.
